So, you have that cool Apple TV sitting next to your TV but you must always stand up to use it? Upstairs theres your media server doing his work and since your a Green-IT-Guy you wont keep it running 24/7 but you hate going upstairs to listen to some tunes in the living room? Then Awake is what youve been waiting for! Awake lets you remotely wake up a sleeping computer.

There are several WoL (Wake-on-LAN) tools on the AppStore so, whats different here?

Awake lets you setup only ONE computer to wake up. Thats on purpose because most people only have one machine to wake up regularly. And with this feature you have a One-Click-Operation to perform - no fiddling with lists of computers, no searching for the right one. Just tap and enjoy...thats preety much it.

Furthermore, Awake is free! Thats because I put in some ads. If you dont like this, just use it to test if your setup is WoL-capable and then buy Awake+, which has the same functionality but comes without the ads...its up to you.

Remarks:
- Please use this Version to test your setup before you buy any other WoL-Software.
- Wake-on-LAN only works with computers that are connected to your router via cable!
- Awake wont let you wake up your computer via the internet. You can do this with other tools on the AppStore.
- Your iPhone/iPod needs acceess to the same network as the computer you try to wake.
